“I am excited to be ministering in my home church. As the senior pastor of Meadowbrook Baptist Church this is where I grew up and came to see my calling to be a pastor developed and nutured. Now, I have the privilege of giving back to the church that means so much to me. As a family with my wife Kristi and our son Easton we love the people here. Pastor Hurley attended Appalachian Bible College from 1997-2001 where he received a bachelor of arts degree in Bible with a concentration in pastoral English Bible. In the summer of 2000 he did his internship in youth ministry and pastoral ministry at Meadowbrook Baptist. In 2001 he began attending Meadowbrook Baptist and in November 2003 started the Sword Sworn ministry for those just out of high school to their early thirties. He has served in various capacities in the church and has been on staff since 2004. He took over fulltime as associate on January 1st, 2010. He and his wife Kristi were married on September 17th, 2011, and on October 22nd of 2013 they welcomed into their family their son Easton Patrick. Pastor Hurley has been the senior pastor here at Meadowbrook since May 4th when the body extended a call to him to be their next senior pastor.
